Spin32 Online Poker amd Online Casino Mission Statement with a short note from the CEO.
Spin32poker is not an online poker room owned by a big corporation with staff employed just to administer the poker room.
Spin32 is a group of online poker and online casino players who have been involved with some of the bigger casino and poker rooms but have broken away to create with passion.
We are always working on the site and the way we administrate the site to try make this the most comprehensive online casino and online poker room in the industry.
Spin32 believe that by helping and caring for our casino and poker players we will distingush ourselves from the competition so we can truly be the industry leaders.
We are working on a new layout for the website with a focus on community and support.
The new website will be built with the user in mind and will have comprehensive online poker and online casino tutorials, tips and help.
Most online poker rooms seem to exist just to serve their download with little thought for the new player that is just getting involved and trying to learn online poker.
Learn poker tutorials are a big part of the plan in the revamp of our site and we will also have some online casino tips but we need to make sure we make the tutorils easy to understand and accurate so we are creating them ready for the site re-design.
There isnt much we can write about playing online roulette but we can work on articles and tips with players to maybe work out formulas and statistics so you can maybe learn to calculate the odds better at roulette.
European Roulette
The European Roulette we have in our casino download client is under the casino games tab.
Described as;
European Roulette with a neighbours wheel is our latest addition to our casino games section.
Played using a wheel containing 37 numbered slots (1-36, plus a 0), pick your lucky numbers and spin that roulette wheel!.".
What we dont tell you is what numbers are most succesful and what betting strategy to use.
Some casual roulette players believe that roulette is a game of chance but we believe by careful betting and number analyasis you can stack the odds in your favour.
One of the first sections of the new interactive site will be working strategys for European Roulette and then coming into the forum to analyse your wins or losses with other european roulette players.
When we analyse your strategy we will be able to document this and work out a plan for you to win European roulette more often because the winning is more fun than the losing.
Most online casino, online poker and roulette sites expect you to just play blindly but as mentioned higher up in this little note we aim to be different and have more of a helpful, friendly and community feel to out online poker and online casino experience.
There will always be a focus with online poker on this website but as lots of people play our casino games while they are waiting for tournaments we will be supporting those casino players.
A short article about the site by Jack McAdoo.
A new Spin to online play.
Jack McAdoo
There is a new spin on online poker. Spin32Poker.com has launched and it is beginning to really take off. There is something for everyone, whether you enjoy freerolls or MTT’s, Spin32 has it for you.
CEO Toby Oddy has truly optimized the site to include more than just large payouts, but having a great time while playing is a true priority of the site. Players can play traditional no-limit hold’em, PL Omaha, and Seven Card Stud. With all games Spin32 has implemented “rabbit hunt”, “expose one card”, “accolades and even smilies for the chat area.
Oddy said, “Our Choice of software and design is motivated to benefit our players and to deliver the ultimate interactive online poker experience, while giving back better bonuses, bigger prize pools, and more frequent rewards in a convenient, regulated, and secure environment”.
The site also has a monthly $50,000 Freeroll, held on the last Sunday of every month. It is exclusively for all qualifying Spin32Poker.com members. They have a 200% sign up bonus that allows you to also play in many freerolls that are abounding daily. “These regular Freerolls is just one way we know of showing our dedicated members how much we do appreciate them” says Oddy.
Toby Oddy brings a true wealth of online industry knowledge to the table by having been involved in the online sector and various internet businesses since the early 1990’s. He was the Business Development Manager for Mansion (Gibraltar) Ltd. Mobile gaming offering.
He has developed a site that allows free play, video poker, Roulette, Black Jack and satellites to many major events. Toby has allowed players to also create their own tournaments with some restrictions, and has “Ladies Only” tournaments as well.
“We want all of our members- from nervous beginners to a season pro, to know from their first experience with Spin32Poker.com, that regardless of their level of bankroll, they are always our absolute priority” confirms Oddy.

Chips Article by Jack McAdoo.
Nice Chips
Jack McAdoo
It’s that unmistakable sound that you hear at the tables. Players are constantly shuffling them, fondling them, and stacking them in spirals as high as they can go.
Poker chips have come a very long way from the days of “pure clay’, to high tech injection molded and even ceramic chips. Poker chips come in a variety of sizes and most casinos today have them embedded with micro chips to avoid counterfeiting and theft.
Colors are vivid and the center of the chip or inlays range from metal coins to beautiful pieces of art. The edge spots have also become works of art. Aligned or unaligned, the edge design lining up with the same design on the face can make a chip even more valuable to a poker chip collector.
Poker chip collecting has grown into a lucrative business for chip makers all around the world. The hobby of collecting casino chips has taken off with the poker boom, and people have been collecting casino style chips for years. The community of chip collectors had grown so large that in 1988 they formed the Casino Chips & Gaming Tokens Collectors Club. CC>CC as it is known, has thousands of active members and holds an annual Convention each year in Las Vegas. The CC>CC has a Web site at www.ccgtcc.com for more information on chip collecting.
Not only can you buy chips from today’s casinos, but you can have a chip made to your own hearts desires. Tribute chips have popped up as well. What are considered to be the most popular style of poker chips? American made clay style chips may be considered to be the most popular chips around the world. These chips have been manufactured since the late nineteenth century and the manufacturing process has not strayed very much from the original today.
Pure clay chips are no longer available. Once made by hand, they are now mixed with other materials that have made the chip harder and have a longer play life. The name has changed from clay to composite, or even injection molded which is made from plastic.
Ceramic poker chips are a ceramic slug that has graphics printed on them. The chip can have a variety of textures, such as smooth or rough, but the most common is a smooth textured surface. This allows for some pretty amazing artwork that can be printed directly on the chip instead of a vinyl inlay that is more or less a sticker used on the composite clay styles. Ceramic style chips allow you to also design edge spots that line up with the top and bottom artwork on the chip. The edges are done as a separate style and process. Chipco is the most well known manufacturer of ceramic chips. Palm Imports out of Florida also manufactures ceramic chips, but also does a lot of composite styles with inlays printed and laid onsite if you desire. The most well known manufacturer of the clay style chip in the US is Paulson.
APPT
The Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT) started in 2007 and is the first major poker event and tour in the region of Asia. It is now an annual event having grown immensely in popularity. The region is known for its impressive players therefore great poker players and high rollers travel to the area to play with their foreign counterparts.
Like its big brother the European Poker Tour, it is now regarded as one of the best spectator poker events in the world. Players qualify all year from land based events and online poker rooms but the main event runs towards the latter part of the year.
The (APPT) is extremely proud to be the first poker organisation to have held a real money poker event that has been government-sanctioned by Korea and China.
Several new locations across Asia have held their first events including Macau (China); Manila (Philippines); Seoul (South Korea), and Sydney (Australia).
The Spin32Poker team was at the last Asia Pacific Tour watching professional and amateur players doing battle at the tables. It is an extremely well organised event from hotel accommodation to transport arrangements and players were freely available to speak to, and numerous interviews were conducted by some of the great professionals of the game of poker.
Quite a few of the best Asian poker players were on-show and gave an up-close insight into how they play and conduct themselves at the cloth. The Asian Pacific Poker Tour of 2008 will be the one to watch and now that it is established, the show will commence with players like Johnny Chann, Edward Sabat, Charles Chua and Diwei Huang. Already making a name for themselves are Mikael Rosen, Jeppe Drivsholm and Kuok Wai Will Cheong.
However we all know that being in the final table position is where you need to be to stand a stab at the real money. A few good players to keep an eye on for the main event are Tian Chen, Javed Abrahams and Myung Sim, and good outsider for the final table is David-Paul Steicke who has a good record and a strong game in live events.
Spin32 Poker gives every member the chance to win a seat at the Asia Pacific Poker Tour. Every month you can play our multi table tournaments and win comp points which will gain you a place on the multi table tournaments leader board. Each month the top100 members on the leader board will gain entry into a grand final tournament where one player will gain a live event package which includes buy in, travel & accommodation, a personal Spin32Poker player host and invite to the official Spin32Poker Player party.
Aussie Millions
Poker reaches every corner of the world and is inspiring players with TV shows of live events. That’s what makes the Aussie Millions one of the best live poker events in the world. The stage is set every year at the Crown Casino in Melbourne and in my opinion it is the best event staff of any poker tour. If you are visiting Australia and enjoy poker then you must take a look into this event. It is held every January and includes 16 live tournaments with a final no limit holdem event of $10,500AUD.
There will be a massive $2 Million guaranteed final prize for the 2009 event!!
So what are you waiting for play your way there and gain a chance to win this amazing prize. Over the years there has been some good action at this event, but it has not always been kind to the professionals. The Aussie Millions has been an event for keen poker players and amateurs to put their skills on the table and shine.
A total outsider from Russia 21-Year-Old Alexander Kostritsyn won the prize in January 2008. Alexander had a battle on his hands as he came up against probably the best NL Hold'em tournament players in the world. One of which was Erik Seidel, renowned for his No Limit play in live events. Erik Seidel was happy to take second place in the Aussie Millions banking just short of AUD$1 Million for his efforts.
Alexander Kostritsyn banked AUD$1.65 Million, which is the largest amount of prize money ever won in a live poker tournament in the Southern Hemisphere. Alexander Kostritsyn is from Moscow where he has made his mark on the live poker circuit. At the 2008 Aussie Millions he was the youngest player in the whole event, twenty-one, and was the only European at the final table.
At the age of 10 Alexander started playing poker and shortly after his nineteenth birthday he went professional. Before the 2008 Aussie Millions he made his best cash win playing a tournament in 2007 at the Russian Summer Poker Tournament where he finished 3rd. He was impressive to watch in the event as he went though a field of 780 players. However he bought directly into the Aussie Million Event for a cool figure of $8,900.
Alexander was seated at the final table with a field that all deserved to win however they just did not have the staying power to beat the young gun. On the final table was Petre Ling who took 4th place and won $500,000. In 5th place was Nino Marotta who also won a cool prize of $400,000. 6th place went to Antonio Casale, he was pleased he won $300,000. Peter Mobbs was on form but could not make a better position than 7th winning over $225,000
There are plenty of places to stay when you’re in Melbourne and there are many major airlines that fly direct to the City of Melbourne. Crown Resorts in Melbourne have two affordable hotels that you can relax in before and after the events. The first is Crown Towers, however if you want a more exclusive hotel then I would recommend you check-out the Crown Promenade Hotel.
Television plays a big part in the Aussie Millions. It was watched by a record number of people in 2008 mainly from the United States of America and Europe. In 2009 the event will be broadcast live on Fox Sports Network. The main event will be shown live and transmitted to an international audience.
The Aussie Millions expects to have 800 plus individuals playing for the $10,500USD No Limit Holdem Buy-In Main Event in January 2009 which will create a good size prize pool for the event. Over 2,000 individual players begin the show and these players will play for two weeks solid to progress to the main event, and you can expect a great deal of media attention as well as over 500 international visitors who will be in attendance.
When the event is hosted in the City the Aussie Millions is big business to Melbourne as it generates close to 8,000 room nights, so you can see why the Aussie Millions attracts so much attention being the sixth largest poker tournament in the world ranking high with the World Series of Poker.
Now famous for holding the largest cash buy in ever where a cool $100,500AUD was the buy in the Aussie Millions is now a legendary tournament, and the event attracted 20 players all buying in at this unbelievable amount of money. However if that seems like madness then in 2009 the Aussie Millions are going to break the record once more and host a $1,000,000AUD Buy In Event!
The first Aussie Millions goes back to 1998 when they held their first event with a $1,000 buy-in and $74k prize pool and was mainly supported by 10 international players who were from New Zealand. But the Aussie Millions has grown every year since 1998 and is now regarded as a highly prestigious live poker event on the international circuit.
In June 1997 Crown introduced poker and the first major championship was born. The Poker Championship was the name of the event held in July 1998. With 74 entries and a total prize pool of £74,000, players entering the main event all played a $1,000 buy in Limit Holdem tournament.
The Crown Australian Poker Championship is better known as the Aussie Millions and in January 2001 the event moved up a gear attracting 40 players with a $5,000 buy in for a prize pool of $200,000. The event in January 2003 was becoming justifiably international and attracted well over 120 entrants who played for a prize pool of $1.2m.
A record 263 participants all paying $10,000 for entry into the No Limit Holdem Main Event made the January 2005 an even better year for the Aussie Millions. The biggest prize pool ever in the Southern Hemisphere of $2,630,000 was generated at this event. Players from USA, England, New Zealand, Ireland, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Canada, Italy, Lebanon and Holland made up the field of ma 50/50 split from overseas.
What a tournament the 2006 Aussie Millions proved itself to be, with player numbers increasing the event was getting stronger and was now justly on the map as one of the world’s top multi-million dollar Poker events. Some great names in the Poker world such as World Series of Poker Champion Joe Hachem, Phil Ivey, Daniel Negreanu, John Juanda were competing with a field of 418 players for a piece of the AUD$4,180,000 prize pool. Barry Greenstein, Kathy Leibert, Scott Fischman, and Chip Jett were the must see players, however players who had good hopes of winning were not disappointed at this event. Other great players who graced the poker room over the event were Tony G, David Williams, Scott Fischman, Antonio Esfandiari, Mike Sexton, Jesse Jones, Clonnie Gowan.
The Asian poker market was increasing player numbers by over 70% every year and the Aussie Millions 2007 found itself a niche in the market which attracted 747 entrants all of whom were playing for the grand prize. Fox Sports Network televised the complete event and the high profile player Gus Hansen won first prize for the main event and was awarded AUD$1.5 million. Fox Sports Network aired a ten series episode in 2007 which attracted an extensive audience.
In 2008 Alexander Kostritsyn, twenty-one, achieved another new breaking win by taking down one of the hardest NL Hold’em players in the world and was ultimately Crowned Aussie Millions Champion for the victory.
The record field of 780 players all buying into the event for AUD$10,000 created an unprecedented prize pool of AUD$7.80million hence this Young Gun walked away from the 2008 Aussie Millions with a cool AUD$1.65million. In the Southern Hemisphere this is by far the largest prize ever awarded in a live poker event.
LA Poker Classic
Held in the months of January and February the LA Poker Classic makes up part of the World Poker Tour (WPT).
Having grown in statute over the years this event is now at a good level for the professionals. Prize money of $507,191USD was won by Gus Hanson at the 2003 LA Poker Classic when he beat a field of 135 other players to be crowned Champion, and Antionio Esfandiari won first prize from a field of 382 players at the LA Poker Classic’s second season, he took home $1,399,135USD, so he had an exceptionally good day at the office. Michael Mizrachi was the third season’s overall champion winning a cool $1,859,909USD which left 537 disappointed with their poker play.
In an online event it is always good to have a bit of history before deciding to play for a seat hence the reason we have put together as much information on the live events we will offer prizes to attend. The LA Poker Classic takes place at the Commerce Casino, Los Angeles and runs for one month between January and February. With an enormous prize pool of more than $17million the January 2009 series will feature 30 plus events.
The LA Poker Classic attracted over 13,400 poker players to the event and 2008 was a record breaking year. Mr Eric Hershler won the 2007 World Poker Tour Main Event and although he was a lawyer from South Africa and not a professional poker player it only goes to prove you can win your way to a seat in a major event and also take home a cool $2.4million for your efforts ... Eric did!
LA Poker Classic Championship will be televised on the World Poker Tour (Travel Channel, Wednesday nights at 9 p.m. PT/ET),
You can watch or play in this super event the buy in amount is $10,000. The tournament will draw more than 400 players so the prize pool is more than $7 million, with first place is likely to be $2 million!
To qualify for the main event satellite tournaments are scheduled throughout January 2009 and February 2009, together with a super satellite day which will be a day of satellites, so you can win a seat.
However, don’t forget to play at Spin32 Poker to win a seat at the World Poker Tour Event and we will pay your buy in and expenses.
EPT Germany - Dortmund
The European Poker Tour heads across the continent to visit Dortmund in Germany because for many years this green city has been host to a leg of the tour. In Germany the game of poker is becoming a national sport and it is unlikely you will find an empty seat at this event since the online poker revolution. With a population of 600,000 Dortmund is Germany’s 7th largest city, and the history of the city dates back to the times of 880AD. It became one of the jewels in the crown of the German Empire when the Emperor Barbarossa settled there in 1152 making Dortmund one of the most powerful towns of the Empire.
Just after the Napoleonic Wars, Dortmund was incorporated into Prussia and the city became a major centre for steel, beer and coal.
Best known for its green metropolis the City of Dortmund has extensive forests and meadows of fresh cut grass, together with parks and gardens that cover almost half the city.
Early in 1873 Dortmund began making beer and the brewers for Dortmund has gone from strength to strength producing a superb pale pilsner lager which is now recognised all over the world. Not so long ago Dortmund was the second largest producers of beer in the world just behind Milwaukee however Dortmund now has the highest concentration of breweries in Germany, the Dortmunder Union becoming Germany’s largest brewery thanks to the popularity with workers in the city and beyond.
Right, ok the beer is fine for the men, but what about the ladies? Well there is always Shopping!! Westenhellweg which is the main shopping area and other excellent shops on Ostenhellweg Street are certainly worth taking a day to explore. Undoubtedly you find some of the best shops in Europe.
An 18 year old online player named Mike “Timex” McDonald won 993,600 Euros, with Andreas Gulunay coming 2nd winning 528,500 Euros during the German leg of the European Poker Tour in 2008.
There are two ways to enter the German event. To get a seat either pay 8,000 Euros or win a seat online with Spin32Poker.com. The 2009 event will be an extremely exciting experience to be involved in and will have well in excess of 40 players.
By winning a seat in our satellite tournaments, you can join Spin32Poker at the 2009 Germany European Poker Tour Event. Only $2 and you could win your seat on the world famous poker tour.
WSOP – World Series of Poker
The World Series of Poker event is the elite of poker tournaments. Its intriguing history dates back to 1949 when Mr Jack Binion was organising poker events between a few small players. The many events he organised before the 1970’s ended in one which lasted a marathon 5 months and featured Nick the Greek Dandolos and Johnny Moss. This lengthy showdown ended in Johnny winning a $5million prize.
Jack was planning the World Series of Poker even though the Binion family thought Jack had gone crazy supporting poker as a new form of gambling in casinos. The first approved WSOP event took place in 1970 in the famous Las Vegas Casino, The Binion’s Horshoe.
A world-wide television audience of millions and a massive attendance has made the event bigger than ever before, and back in the late 1980’s has made stars of the likes of Phil Hellmuth and Johnny Chan. Players such as Chris Ferguson, Carlos Mortensen, Chris Money Maker, Scotty Nguyen together with Joe Hachem have all become WSOP Champions and the Horse Shoe event has seen the all time greats win this main event. However, without Doyle Brunson, the World Series of Poker would not be the same as Doyle has won 10 bracelets in a variety of tournaments and has been playing in this event from the beginning.
Doyle’s popularity has grown from year-to-year and he is now considered one of the main faces of poker not only in the United States of America but world-wide. Doyle played the same hand in 1976 and 1977at the final event of the World Series of Poker and won. This hand is now known as the Doyle Brunson Hand and it is 10 – 2.

EPT London - European Poker Tour
The European Poker Tour is held annually and is always scheduled in October at the London Victoria Casino. The EPT London event attracts more than 400 players who turn up to play poker and £2million in prize money was on offer in the 2007 London leg of the European Poker Tour. Joseph Mouawad was the lucky winner of the London event and he banked £611,000. Florian Langmann from Germany took second place.
A field of players from all four corners of the world attended the 2008 event and the buy in was £5,200 plus £200 entry fee. However with a 1 Million First prize the 2008 event was considered as a great success.
The London leg of the European Poker Tour held a High Roller event for the first time ever and because this is now a major game of poker it is being televised world-wide. Buying in at £20,000, there are 86 players taking part.
The demand in 2008 was much greater than expected and because of this the organisers of the London EPT decided to relax the rule of capping the field of 500 players. Instead more poker tables were added to cope with the demand and this sharp move offered seats for more hard core poker players. It is reported that the 2008 EPT London Tournament has a waiting list of 100 people wanting a seat.

Poker News Cup
The Poker News Cup Tournament started in 2007 and was an enormous success in Australia. However, The Poker News Cup has a history that is short but sweet and is not exclusive to Australia as in 2008 one other event was held in Austria. The Australian tournament is always held at the Crown Casino in Melbourne and well in excess of 1500 players took part in the first event to win the big prize in the main event. To enable them to pitch their skills against the best poker players of Asia and the poker circuit, players from all over the world turned up to play. In the final event in 2007, an Australian Dory Zayneh, won overall prize money and finished first. He won a massive prize of $300,000AUD. The Poker News Cup buy in amount was $3,000AUD yet due to entrants numbers being capped many people were disappointed about not being able to get a seat at the event.
The Poker News Cup Australia was an immense success in 2007and because it achieved such a great response it was taken to Europe in April 2008.
Salzburg was the breathtaking alpine ski resort where the event was held. A completely new venture for the Poker News Team and because it was greeted by the European players as an absolute success there are now plans for more events in the future.
From 12th October 2008 through to 20th the Poker News Cup tournament begins and all eyes are now on the event. Entrants are still being accepted to the event and here at Spin32Poker you get a chance to win a seat at this major tournament. All you have to do to win a live seat is play in our Multi Table Tournaments and you will be rewarded with a position in our grand final tournament at the end of every month. About the UIGEA
On 13 October 2006 a law was made in the United States of America. President Bush made it illegal for online poker and gambling sites to accept funds or wagers from the USA. As a US player you are affected by The Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006 (UIGEA). A straightforward explanation of the law is that no online transactions or gambling activity that violates existing federal, state or tribal law is allowed. The UIGEA law does not make the player liable by any means for playing online poker or gambling in any way online. In brief the website is fully liable for accepting funds or wagers associated with illegal Internet gambling.
